Funeral service for Mrs. George C. Crawford, who died Friday morning, Sept. 17, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Beverly Anderson, were held at Smykil's funeral home Sunday at 2 p.m. Service was conducted by Rev. Homer E. Dalrymple and burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Born in Wisconsin Oct. 11, 1864, she married George C. Crawford June 24, 1890 at Sioux Falls, S.Dak. They made their home in Wyoming until 1896, when they moved to Anamosa. In 1922 they moved again to Cedar Rapids where Mr. Crawford died in 1941. One daughter, Florence, died Jan. 14, 1936.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Gladys Crow, Miss DeEtta Crawford, and Mrs. Beverly Anderson, all of Anamosa; two sons, Fred and John Crawford, both of Cedar Rapids; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
