Monticello - Funeral service was conducted Monday, May 6, at the Methodist church for Lawrence William Glenn, 69, who died May 4, by the Rev. George Woodall, with burial in the Scotch Grove cemetery.

Mr. Glenn, the son of R. R. and Mary E. Glenn was born at Scotch Grove. Many years of his life were spent in Montana, but for the last nine years he has lived in Monticello with a sister, Mrs. Jennie Wright. In 1895, Mr. Glenn married Anna Hermmer at Algona. Mrs. Glenn died several years ago.

Surviving him are three children, J. Dillon Glenn, Quasqueston, Mrs. Hazel Themascus, Chicago, and Mrs. Genevieve Flanagan, Aurora, Ill.; also nine grandchildren.
