Funeral service was held Tuesday at the Smykil Funeral home in Anamosa for George B. Frazier, 76, for many years president of the Niles and Watters bank, who died Sunday at his home following a long illness.

Rev. B. T. Schwab officiated at the service. Burial was made at Riverside cemetery. Mrs. Schwab sang two selections, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "Abide With Me," at the service. Miss Florence Hall accompanied on the piano.

Casketbearers were A. J. Ament, W. W. Buckner, M.C. Crispin, Dr. B. F. Erb, Dr. A. N. Trevarthen and A. L. Remley. Honorary casketbearers were William Hale, W. K. Pearson, William Hogan and H. H. Soper.

Mr. Frazier who was a native of Nevada, came to Anamosa in 1915. He was graduated from Iowa State college at Ames and had taught school at Butte, Mont., and at Jewell. In 1890 he established a bank at Breda. He was married at Breda, two years later, to Belle Jones, who survives with two daughters, Mrs. K. L. Johnson, Oskaloosa, and Mrs. Marguerite Moore, Des Moines; one son, W. S. Frazier, Anamosa, a brother, William J. Frazier, Berkeley, Calif. and a sister, Mrs. A. A. Ashby, Sioux City.

Mr. Frazier was a member of the Masonic lodge, Knights Templar and of the Knights of Pythias. Service was conducted by the Masonic lodge.
