Funeral service was held at Smykil's Funeral home Sunday for Mrs. Ernest O'Deen, Cedar Rapids, who died at a hospital there on Friday. Rev. Thomas Horton, Clinton, who is pastor of St. Mark's Episcopal church in Anamosa, was in charge of the rites.

Casket bearers were John, Charles, William, Carl and Harry O'Deen and Walter Knapp. Burial was made in Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. O'Deen was born Feb. 6, 1898. She is survived by her husband and two stepsons, Ernest and Kenneth O'Deen, both of Chicago.
