Funeral service for Clarence V. Fisher, 69, lifetime resident of Anamosa who died Sunday evening after a two-week illness, was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Smykil's Funeral home.

Rev. C. E. Burdine, chaplain of the Men's State reformatory, officiated at the service and a Knights of Pythias service was held at the funeral home. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Casketbearers included: G. W. Beaman, R. L. LaChapelle, T. M. Miller, F. E. Todd, W. G. Yount and H. Z. Ziegler.

Mr. Fisher had been employed at the Men's state reformatory for 21 years and had served as superintendent of the tobacco industry there for 10 years until the time of his illness.

He was married on Feb. 6, 1927, to Mrs. Della Kidwell who survives with a sister, Miss Flora, Anamosa, and two brothers, William J. Fisher, Anamosa and Earl Fisher, Mamoroneck, N.Y.

Mr. Fisher was a member of the Knight of Pythias lodge and of the Modern Woodmen.
