25 October 1962 - The Anamosa Eureka

Edward T. Joslin, 82, Anamosa, died Saturday, Oct. 20, following a lingering illness at a Cedar Rapids rest home.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m., at the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ, Fairview. Elder Lewis Howard, Cedar Rapids, officiated at the services. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa, was in charge of services.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Lowe, Howard Dragoo, Lloyd Coleman, James Peet, David Cummings and Dick Rathjens.

Mrs. Louis Howard was organist.

He was born March 13, 1880, son of Thurston Joslin and Pauline Warden Joslin, Anamosa. He was married to Eva Myers, Anamosa. He had lived his married life on farms in the Anamosa and Fairview vicinities.

Survivors include four daughters, Nada, Mrs. George Globes, Fairview; Beryl, Mrs. William Larson, Anamosa; Ruth, Mrs. Russell Hoke and Mrs. Lorine Kohl, Cedar Rapids.

Others include one sister, Mrs. Lillian Sterner, Los Angeles, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
