OLIN--Funeral service for Mrs. Henry Hotz was conducted at the United Brethren church Sunday at 2 p.m. by the pastor, Rev. W. T. Boston.

Laura B. Hotz, daughter of David and Christena Switzer, was born June 27, 1875. She was married to Henry Hotz, April 3, 1899. Couple had seven children. They are: Harlan D., Cedar Rapids; Ernest E., Lisbon; Irvin C., Mervin L., Eldon H., Mrs. Velva Clothier, Olin; and Melvin L., March Field, Calif., all of whom with the husband survive.

She was one of 11 children, of whom four brothers and two sisters survive her: Fred E., Olin; Wesley W., Cedar Rapids; Sam L., Olin; Charles A., Des Moines; Mrs. Eva Keseberg, Pine River, Minn.; and Mrs. Grace E. Cole, Olin. Six grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces also survive.

She has been a member of the Christian church since the age of 15 years.

She died Thursday, Aug. 13, at the age of 67 years, after a lingering illness of about 14 years, most of which time she was an invalid. Burial was in the Center cemetery.

Mrs. Joe Clay and Mrs. Leon Stivers, accompanied by Mrs. Harry Stuart, sang two numbers during the services, "The Old Rugged Cross," and "In The Garden." Mrs. Howard Campbell had charge of the arrangements. Harry Miller, Harry Levsen, L. J. Rohwedder, Edgar Lawson, Frank Fall and Arthur Gilmore were the casketbearers.
