The Anamosa Eureka, Anamosa, Iowa, Friday, May 2nd, 1862
Our attentive correspondent ‘Leonidas’ sends us the following from Forsyth, Mo.

List of deaths in Companies B and D since the Battle of Pea Ridge:
In Co. D. April 10th, John Phelps of Anamosa, typhoid fever; Apr. 7th, Henry Overly of Scotch Grove, lung fever; Apr. 13th, Wm. Clark of Scotch Grove, lung fever; March 15th, Donald Sutherland of Scotch Grove, of wounds received by accident; March 24th, Serg. Thomas W. Sweesy of Scotch Grove, of wounds received at the battle of Pea Ridge; March 14th, Isaiah C. Boyer of Bowen’s Prairie, of wounds received at the battle of Pea Ridge; March 10th; Corp. Wm. L. Murphy of Scotch Grove, of wounds received in the battle of Pea Ridge. In Company B, April 12th, Devolso Ensign of Wyoming, died suddenly from chronic diarrhea; Geo. Stirling of Greenfield, was in hospital at Forsyth, of typhoid fever, April 16th.
