Miss Nellie Morey, 78, died Thursday morning, Sept. 28, at her home in Iowa City.

Funeral services are pending at Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa.

Miss Morey taught in the rural schools of Jones county for ten years, and in the Anamosa elementary school for ten years. She taught school in Aberdeen, S.Dak., for four years. She served 25 years as superintendent of Jones county schools.

She is survived by one brother, Roy Morey, San Francisco, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
