OLIN--George Otho McDonald, Central City, died Wednesday, July 3, at State University hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 6, at the Passmore Funeral home at 10 a.m. Rev. Dwight Hendricks officiated. Burial was at the Olin cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Stoddard, LeRoy Neitert, Raymond Palmer and Harry Waters.

He was born Sept. 27, 1877 at Olin. He was united in marriage to Ida Mae Weaver on Jan. 4, 1904, who died Aug. 11, 1961.

To this union were born ten children, three having preceded them in death.

He is survived by seven children, John, Olin; Georgia, Mrs. Joe Carpenter and Otho, both of Central City; Earl, Cedar Rapids; Ida Mae, Mrs. Guy Flewelling, Hastings, Okla.; Betty McDonald, Central City; and Donna, Mrs. Kenneth Kinyon, Iowa City; 20 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
