Louisa Kramer was born in Franklin County, Ohio, Oct. 3, 1839. She came to Iowa with her parents in 1864. In 1867 she was married to Mr. W. Benadom and there were born to them four children, of whom three are living. At the time of her death they resided at Maquoketa, Iowa. The cause of her death was cancer of the liver and pyloric end of the stomach.

The deceased was sister to Mr. Adam Kramer, of Strawberry Hill, was a resident of Jones County thirty years and has been sick about six months. The remains were brought to Anamosa Monday night and the funeral services were held at the Antioch Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by Rev. R. W. Earhart, with interment in the church cemetery. Many friends of the family will sympathize with the bereaved ones in this great sorrow.
