OLIN--William H. Pieper, 84, died Thursday, Feb. 19 at the home of his son, Joe, near Olin, from injuries received when he fell down the cellar steps two weeks ago.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral home with Rev. Paul Brown officiating.

Mr. Peiper was born Feb. 5, 1884, in Cedar county and married Mina Davidson, who preceded him in death in 1936. They lived on a farm near Olin for 20 years, before moving to Olin. After his wife's death, Mr. Pieper moved to the farm.

Survivors are two sons, Joe, Olin and Ray, Lisbon; three brothers, Henry, Lisbon, Louis, Olin, and Gus, Mechanicsville; a sister, Mrs. Hannah Kohl, Rockford, Ill.; six grandchildren and two great grand children.
