George L. Lasack, 62, of Wyoming, dies Tuesday, Nov. 10 at the Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa. He was born at Oxford Junction on March 4, 1899, the son of Adolph and Mary (Kula) Lasack. He attended Oxford Junction schools. He began working at the Oxford Junction Hayloader Factory with his father and eventually operated the business alone until its closing several years ago. He was married to Olive DeMoss at Wyoming in 1939.

Mr. Lasack is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Francis (Lilian) Schumacher, Chicago, Ill., and Marie Lasack, Wilmington, Delaware.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and one sister. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Hayden Funeral Home in Wyoming with Rev. Gwyn such officiating. Burial was in Wyoming Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Robert Andersen, Robert DeMoss, Stewart DeMoss, Fred Lasack, Emil Lasack and Glen Regennitter.
