LISBON--John Lewis Kuntz, 95, Lisbon, died Friday, Aug. 18, following a brief illness resulting from a fall 10 days earlier.

Services were held Monday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m., at the Morgan Funeral home, Lisbon. Rev. Eugene Miller officiated at the service. Interment was in White Oak cemetery.

Pallbearers included Charles Bausch, Harry Dorcas, jr., John Siver, Clair Armstrong, Raymon Stearns and Bruce McCullough.

He was born Nov. 20, 1865, son of Jacob and Henrietta Smith Kuntz, Greenfield township, Jones county. His entire life was lived in the White Oak community.

In January, 1894, he was married to Eva Jane Hempy, who preceded him in death in 1938.

Survivors include four sons, Fred, Ralph, Stanley and Dean; two daughters, Hazel, Mrs. Henry Bucke, Boone; and Olive, Mrs. Theodore Light, Lisbon.

Others include one sister, Mrs. Luella Daubenmier, Marion; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
