CASCADE--Funeral service for Robert Gross, 21-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gross, who committed suicide last week by shooting himself, were held Friday morning at St. Mary's church in Cascade.

Worry over the prospect of being called for army training apparently caused the youth's action.

He is survived by his father and stepmother and six brothers and sisters, Raymond, Rockford, Ill., Paul, James and William, at home; Mrs. Lyle Ridenour, Monticello and Mrs. Thomas Watson, Evanston, Ill.
