Funeral service for Edward G. Burrichter, 61, Monticello business man for the past 42 years, and brother of Otto Burrichter, Anamosa, was held Sunday afternoon at Evangelical and Reformed church at Monticello. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.

Mr. Burrichter died Friday at John McDonald hospital after suffering a stroke Monday, April 7. He had lived in or near Monticello since he was four years old.

Besides his wife, Mr. Burrichter is survived by two children, Donald Burrichter, Shenandoah, and Mrs. J. K. Martelle, Cedar Falls; five brothers, Otto, Anamosa, Emil, Will and Martin, Monticello, and Henry, Lost Nation; two sisters, Mrs. O. W. Brazelton, Monticello and Mrs. Albert Dickman, Lost Nation.
