MARTELLE--John McPherson, who had been ill with pneumonia at his home east of Martelle, died at the age of 82.

A lifelong resident of this community, Mr. McPherson was married June 15, 1911, to Mrs. Addie Smith, Morley, who preceded him in death January 4, 1929. He is survived by two brothers, Tom and Samuel, who live in the same home, and a sister, Mrs. Nosley.
