Anamosa, Iowa, April 12--The death of a most estimable woman, Mrs. Mary Cavanaugh, occurred on Good Friday, after quite a long illness due to the infirmities of old age. Mrs. Cavanaugh was born in Kerry, Ireland, in 1839 and came to this country with her parents when but twelve years old. The family settled at Holyoke, Mass., and there she was married to Maurice Cavanaugh in 1864. Mr. Cavanaugh died some years ago, but three children are left to mourn the loss of an excellent mother.
