Funeral services were held for Mrs. Josephine Dedina, 90, at 1:30 on Friday, March 16, at Hayden's Funeral Home. Burial was at Mayflower Cemetery. The Rev. Ramon Booth of Cedar Rapids officiated at the service.

Pallbearers were Herman Benischek, Leonard Benischek, James Benhart, Fred Koranda, Joe Buresh and John Zamastil.

Mrs. Dedina died March 13 at the Clarence Care Center.

She was born Josephine Chvala on March 15, 1888 in Chicago. On August 4, 1904 she was married to Edward Dedina in Chicago. They lived there until 1950 when they moved to Oxford Junction to live with their daughter. Mr. Dedina died in 1964.

Survivors are one son, Robert of Chicago and one daughter, Mrs. Grace Barto of Oxford Junction.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son, one infant daughter, one brother and one sister.
