CASTLE GROVE--Funeral service was held Tuesday at the Iverson Funeral home, Monticello, for Mrs. Herman F. Zimmerman, Castle Grove township, who died Saturday at the hospital at Independence.

Mrs. Zimmerman had been ill for several years. She sought recovery at a sanitarium at Davenport and for awhile was somewhat improved. Recently, her condition grew worse and she died at the age of 35 years.

Mrs. Zimmerman was the daughter of John Albert Lubben and Anna Folkers. She was baptized June 1, 1905 in the Zion Evangelical church by Rev. C. Mardorf. On April 9, 1922, she was confirmed by Rev. J. P. Willms.

She was married to Herman Zimmerman June 6, 1934, by Rev. Willms.

Survivors are the husband, Mr. Zimmerman, one son, John Frederick, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Lubben. A son, Kenneth Leigh, preceded her in death.
