OLIN--Edward Regennitter, 79, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 11 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thomas Gill, Olin.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Gill Memorial home, Wilton Junction. Rev. Robert Farr officiated at the service. Interment was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

Pallbearers were Dean Schroeder, Wilford Wright, Don Kallenberger, Ed Gill, Kenneth Fowler and Darrell Dallege.

He was born Sept. 7, 1881, son of Barnhardt and Dora Schmidt Regennitter, Bennett. He spent nearly all of his life in the vicinity of Wilton Junction. He had made his home in Olin since last April.

He was married to Cora Wilkerson March 9, 1904, at Tipton. She preceded him in death Nov. 29, 1959.

Survivors include one son, Ernest Regennitter, Tipton; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Fagg, Herrick, Ill.; and Mrs. Thomas Gill, Olin; and Mrs. Earl Schroeder, Bettendorf; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Beside his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Kallenberger; two brothers and three sisters.
