BRANDON--Charley R. Neal, 72, Brandon, died Monday, Jan 2, in John McDonald hospital, Monticello.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Jan. 5, at the Goettsch Funeral home, Monticello. Rev. John Schlosser, Olin, officiated at the service. Burial was at Monticello.

Hymns were sung by Mrs. Ferne Lockwood and Mrs. Lorraine Howell.

Survivors include his wife, Mata; two sons, Paul Neal and Floyd Neal, of Brandon vicinity; one daughter, Dorothy, Mrs. Chris Holmes, Anamosa; and five grandchildren.

Friends and neighbors from Brandon attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Saunders, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hoelker, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Current and son, John; Mr. and Mrs. Loren Francis, Mr. and Mrs. John Allen, Merle and Thomas Caraway, Herb Kinion, Max Parmer, Dillon Stickley and Dillon Propst.
