Funeral services for Mrs. Anna A. Shedek, 83, of Oxford Junction were held Friday, January 5 at 1 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church. Burial was at Savanna, IL cemetery. The Rev. Keith Roepke was the officiating clergyman. Organist was Mrs. Vernon Steffens and soloist was Mrs. Keith Roepke. The Hayden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Charles Shedek, Gary Shedek, Richard Henak, Leon Carpenter, Blake Taylar and Gary Muldoon.

Mrs. Shedek died Wednesday, January 3 at Mercy Hospital, Clinton.

She was born November 29, 1895 in Germany, the daughter of Carl and Caroline Kroll. She came to the Untied States in 1898 and attended Savanna Public schools.

She married Paul Hass in Savanna. He preceded her in death.

In October, 1931, she married Louis Shedek and they spent their married life in Oxford Junction.

Survivors are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Helen Carpenter, and two stepchildren, Verne Shedek and Mrs. Elmer (Virginia) Henak, all of Oxford Junction; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Giestar Kroll, Savanna, IL; and four sisters, Mrs. Frieda Schluesher, Rochester, MN; Mrs. Ella Schradeja and Miss Marie Kroll, both of Chicago, IL and Mrs. Emma Dolek of OH.

Preceding her in death were her parents and first husband.
