OXFORD JUNCTION--Curtis Pence, 75, Oxford Junction, died Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Nursing home, Oxford Junction, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Jan. 2, at the Hayden Funeral home, Oxford Junction. Rev. Ramon Booth, of the Assembly of God Church, officiated at the service. Burial was in the Pence Ridge cemetery, near Baldwin.

Pallbearers were Donald Propst, Howard Propst, Gale Peters, Lyle Sheldon, Myron Sheldon and Edward Sheldon.

Miss Karen Ahrendsen and Mrs. Otto Koranda were soloists. Mrs. Hayden was organist.

Before his retirement several years ago he had farmed in the Oxford Junction vicinity.

He is survived by one sister-in-law, Mrs. Merton Pence, Wyoming.

He was preceded in death by four brothers. Several nieces and nephews.
