Funeral services were held last Tuesday for Kenneth I. Fairley, 64, of Onslow, who died Dec. 9 near Hopkinton.

Rev. James Mattson officiated at services held at 11 a.m. Dec. 12 at Zion Lutheran Church in Wyoming. Burial was at Wyoming cemetery.

Fairley was born near Olin on Oct. 16, 1914, the son of LaVerne and Leota Craig Fairley. He was raised near Olin and attended rural school there.

On Jan. 21, 1938, he married Alberta Boots at Tipton. He worked on a farm near Morley for four years and then he farmed near Mechanicsville for 11 years. Since 1955, he had farmed northeast of Onslow.

Surviving him are his wife; one son, Gary, Onslow; one daughter, Marcia (Mrs. Laurel) Bahnsen, Wyoming; four grandchildren; one brother, Earl, Lisbon; and two sisters, Violet Coppess, Stanwood, and Mrs. Erhmal Coppess, Clarence.

His parents preceded him in death.
