Raymond Mulvihill, 79, formerly of Oxford Junction, died last Sunday, October 30 at Ridgecrest Retirement Village, Davenport.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oxford Junction. Officiating clergyman was Rev. R. J. Sigwarth and burial was in the Lost Nation Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerry Mount, John Early, Richard Mulvihill, Gary Mulvihill, Jerry Mulvihill, and Donald Mulvihill.

The rosary was recited Tuesday night at Hayden Funeral Home, Oxford Junction.

Mulvihill was born October 20, 1898, at Lost Nation to Jerome and Josaphine Mulvihill. He married Helen Burnett at Lost Nation. The couple farmed between Lost Nation and Oxford Junction before retiring to Oxford Junction several years ago. He had been a resident of Ridgecrest Retirement Village since December, 1976.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include a brother, Tom, of San Antonio, Texas and one sister, Lucille, of Venice, California.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and three sisters.
