The funeral services of Louis Newton was held at the M.E. church Friday afternoon. Mr. Newton, who was 23 years of age, was killed at Nevada, Iowa, the motor-cycle he was riding being hit by a freight train, throwing him against a car and crushing his skull. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Newton of this city and brother of Mrs. Roy Hartman.
