Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the First Presbyterian Church, Wyoming, for Myron French, 74, Clarence. Rev. Charles Johnson officiated, with burial in the Wyoming cemetery.

Hayden Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Raymond Dusanek, Frank Vacek, Melvin Thomsen, Joel Zamastil, Carl Wurst, and Walter Denison.

Mr. French died last Saturday at Anamosa Community Hospital.

He was born near Wyoming, April 22, 1903, the son of James and Carrie Bender French. He married Clara Eckstein, February 4, 1926, at Rock Island, Illinois. The couple farmed west of Wyoming until 1976, when he retired to Clarence.

Mr. French was a member of Oddfellows, K. P. Lodge, the Wyoming Fair Board, and the First Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Glen (Leona) Soper, Olin; Mrs. Dick (Betty) Steenhoek, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Ronald (Delores) Remington, Clarence; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Millie McConald, Wyoming; and a brother, Dale, Martelle.

Mr. French was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
