Anamosa, Ia., July 6--Caleb Belknap, an aged resident of Jackson township, died on Sunday and his funeral was held at his home on Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Belknap was born in Ohio in 1838. He was married and came to Iowa in 1860. He enlisted in 1864 in Company 1, Second I.V.I. and served till the close of the war. He is survived by his wife, who is in very feeble health, and several children.
