Services were held at Hayden Funeral Home, Olin, for Harold Ted Fairley, 69, last Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Burial was in Forest Chapel Cemetery, rural Anamosa.

Mr. Fairley died May 28 at Mechanicsville Care Center. He was born November 6, 1907 in Cedar County, the son of Edward and Ethel Eye Fairley. He was educated in the Wyoming and Olin School districts. He married Lilyan McDaniel May 20, 1931 at Monticello. The couple lived most of their married life in Olin.

He is survived by his wife Lilyan, a daughter, Janice Nobiling of Moline, five grandchildren, three brothers, Lewis, of Olin; Clair, of Savanna, Illinois; and Raymond, of Olin.

His parents, one brother, and a sister preceded him in death.
