Services were held Friday, May 27th at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home at Wyoming for Lavern Orlie Urban, 48, who died May 23, 1977, after several years of illness. Rev. Charles Johnson officiated, with burial in Wyoming cemetery. Legion Post #259 also held graveside services.

Mr. Urban was born on Sept. 8, 1928 at Anamosa and currently lived in Greenfield, Wisc. He was the son of Orlie and Mayme Johnson Urban.

Most of his life was spent on the family farm in Madison Twp. He graduated from Wyoming High School in 1946 and served in the Air Force for 4 years after that.

Lavern left no survivors and was preceded in death by his parents.
