Wyoming, Ia. Feb. 18--The funeral of Dallas Swordes was held at the home of her parents, Mayor and Mrs. J. N. Swordes, last Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. D. L. de Best, pastor of the Presbyterian church officiating. Thursday, on the early morning train the body was taken to DeWitt accompanied by the parents, relatives and Rev. de Best for burial in Elmwood cemetery. Mayor and Mrs. J. N. Swordes were former residents of DeWitt.
