Elsie Wilhelmina Ricklefs of Monticello died Aug. 29 at the home of her sister, Mrs. David Henderson in Tipton.

Services were held in Monticello Aug. 31 with the Rev. Arnold E. Schlueter officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery at Monticello.

She was born June 17, 1901, near Monticello, the daughter of John H. Ricklefs and the former Emma Siemers. She has spent the past 10 years in California. She was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran church and the Women's auxiliary in Monticello and the Lutheran Hospital Society of Southern California. She attended Jones county schools.

She is survived by 4 sisters, Mrs. Minnie Ricklefs, Dubuque; Mrs. William (Ann) Burrack, Denver; Mrs. Ben (Clara) Behrends, Monticello; Mrs. Henderson and one brother, Elmer Ricklefs, Dubuque.
