Mary Elizabeth Tredway, 81, of Scotch Grove died Saturday, Feb. 19th at Wellman, Iowa. Services were held Wednesday Feb. 23rd at the Onslow Presbyterian Church with Rev. Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Wyoming Cemetery.

Mrs. Tredway was born May 13, 1895 at Olin to Elmer and Mary Rose Myers. She graduated from high school in 1914 and Iowa State Teacher's College in 1917. Mary taught school until her marriage to Moody Tredway in 1924 at Nevada, Ia. They farmed in the Olin and Scotch Grove areas. For the last 8 years, she has been a resident at the Wellman nursing home.

She is survived by 2 sons, Miles of Scotch Grove and Dudley of Onslow; 1 daughter, Mrs. Jay (Rosemary) Kinney of Oxford; 8 grandchildren and 1 sister, Mrs. Ida Jennings of New Orleans, La.

Preceeding Mary in death were her parents, husband and 1 brother.
