Wyoming, Ia., April 7--Dora Fern Lewis was born at Center Junction May 14, 1903. At the age of 1 1/;2 years old she came with her parents to Wyoming. Later they moved to a farm four miles west of Center Junction. Several years later they moved back to Center Junction, where on May 5th she lost her father. In the fall of 1916 she came back to Wyoming. One day she came home from school ill. Her sickness was pronounced appendicitis and she was taken to St. Luke's hospital at Cedar Rapids, where after seven weeks of suffering she passed away on March 30. She leaves her mother and two sisters to mourn her death. The funeral was held in the Presbyterian church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. de Best preaching the sermon. The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. She was a bright, loving little girl and her departure will be mourned by many.
