Leland Haring, 62, Onslow, Iowa, passed away Tuesday December 9th at University Hospital, Iowa City.

Born on October 21, 1913 at Pleasant Valley, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Clara Haas Haring.

He married Beulah Madsen on June 5, 1927 at Preston.

He was a District Manager for the Crow's Hybrid Seen corn Company until his illness. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and of Fraternity #619 of Masonic Lodge Onslow Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Leland of West Burlington, 2 grandchildren, Thomas Lee and Elizabeth Ann Haring, 4 brothers, Earl of Palo, Ill., Ray, Clarence and Walter, all of Savanna, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter.

Services were held on Friday, December 12, at 1:30 at the Onslow Presbyterian Church with Reverand Charles Johnson Officiating. Burial was at Miles Cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Lindsy, John Pruell, Miles Treadway, Don Jansen, Boyd Catterton, Bruce Reade, Calvin Reiss, and James Collins.
