Leslie McGuire, 62, of Olin was killed Friday morning in a tractor accident on the Marion Grafft farm, south of Anamosa.

McGuire was found dead shortly before noon. Authorities estimated that the Olin man was killed sometime between 9 and 9:30 a.m. when the tractor he was operating went over an embankment and overturned on him.

Acting Jones County Coroner Warren P. Lawrence said McGuire apparently died of internal bleeding. He had crawled about 20 feet from the tractor before he collapsed.

The body was discovered by Richard Grafft, who farms his father's farm.

Funeral services were held Monday in Anamosa with burial in Antioch cemetery.

He is survived by his wife and mother, two stepsons, and a stepdaughter; six brothers, Floyd, Morley, Willis, Stanwood, Jack and Louis, Olin, and Clifford and Milton of Anamosa, and two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Paulsen, Olin, and Clara McGuire, Chicago, Ill.
