Anamosa, Iowa, May 22--The funeral of Mrs. Mary Finnegan was held on Monday afternoon from her home. Mrs. Finnegan resided in Anamosa some years ago, but after the death of her husband she removed to Mt. Vernon and made a home with her daughter, Mrs. Helberg. About a month ago these two decided to return to Anamosa so as to be with another daughter, Mrs. J. E. King and had just got nicely settled when Mrs. Finnegan, whose health had been feeble for some time passed away without any previous sickness. Mrs. Finnegan was born in 1831. The services were conducted by a former pastor, a friend from Lisbon.
