Anamosa, Jan. 18.--The remains of Mrs. George Russell were brought to Anamosa for burial from Tyler, Texas. Mrs. Russell was Miss Rebecca Kinsey. Her father, Hurley Kinsey, was clerk of the supreme court at Des Moines and came to Anamosa to take the position of Clerk of the penitentiary under the first warden, Martin Helsey. Mrs. Russell was married to her husband, George Russell in 1874. Four children were born to them and Mr. Russell died in 1888. After the break in the family circle Mrs. Russell moved to Sioux City, but at the time of her death she was living with a son in Tyler. She is survived by three of her children, all of whom were present at her burial. The funeral was held in Tyler, but there was a brief service at the undertaking parlors in Anamosa, conducted by Rev. L. C. Lemon.
