Services for H. Lorenzen held March 8

WYOMING - Funeral services for Henry Lorenzen, 71, of Center Junction, were held at the Scotch Grove Presbyterian church on Monday, March 8, 1976, at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.

Mr. Lorenzen was born near Wyoming on Feb. 17, 1905, the son of Carsten and Emma Ahrendsen Lorenzen. He was married to Rosemary Zirkelbach at Scotch Grove Presbyterian church on June 4, 1946. The couple farmed near Wyoming for a short time before moving to a farm near Center Junction where they lived at the present time.

He died at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids on Thursday. March 4. He was a member of the Scotch Grove Presbyterian church.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Lloyd, of Center Junction; one daughter, Emily, at home; one granddaughter; one, brother, Lorenz, of Anamosa; three sisters, Mrs. Martin (Christine) Petersen, Wyoming, Mrs. Alva (Ella) Larkey. Onslow, and Mrs. Herman (Anna) Hintz, Oxford Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
