Anna Hintz

Mrs. Herman (Anna) Hintz, 71, died March 23 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque following a brief illness. Services were held March 26 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction with Rev. Douglas Holmgren officiating. Burial was in the Massillon Cemetery. Members of the Royal Neighbors Camp 1897 presented a service March 25 at the Hayden Funeral Home.

She was born May 29, 1910, the daughter of Carsten and Emma Ahrendsen Lorenzen at Wyoming. She attended the Wyoming Schools. On Feb. 17, 1931, she married Herman Hintz. The couple lived in the Wyoming and Oxford Junction area all their lives. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge, Home Arts Club, and Happy Hour Club and was affiliated with St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction.

Survivors include her husband and two sisters, Christina Petersen, Wyoming, and Ella Larkey, Onslow.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Pallbearers were Brian, Gary and Richard Petersen, Lloyd and. Kenneth. Lorenzen and Jerry Hintz.
