Services held for Onslow man

Alva O. Larkey. 74, rural Onslow, died Monday, March 24, at Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa. Services were held at Carson Funeral Home, Maquoketa, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 26. with burial in Clay Cemetery, Onslow.

He was born Nov. 14, 1905, in Onslow, and was the son of Frank, and Alice Orr Larkey. He married Ella Lorenzen March 18; 1933 in Morrison. The couple farmed near Onslow.

Survivors include; his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Don (Alice) Burmahl and Mrs. Warren (Rosann) Roberts both of Maquoketa, and Mrs. Jacob (Marilyn) Vlertstra of Birnamwood, Wis.; one son Robert of Maquoketa. ten grandchildren and one brother Willard, Oxford Junction
