Olin, Ia. -- Mrs. L. H. Peck, 78, resident of Olin, and mother of Dr. John Peck of Des Moines, internationally prominent for work in the field of tuberculosis prevention, died Monday at her home following a long illness of heart trouble. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Olin Methodist church. Before her marriage Mrs. Peck was Anna Elizabeth Gable. She was born at New Germantown, Pa., March 5, 1856. Surviving are her husband, three sons, Dr. John H. Peck of Des Moines, Will C. Peck of Olin, and Ernest F. Peck of Mechanicsville; two daughters, Mrs. Ada A. Seegar, of Morley, and Mrs. Esther Jurgensen of Blairstown, Iowa.
