Patrick Henry Skahill, of Washington township, brother of John and James Skahill, died very suddenly on Thursday. On the day previous he made a trip to Canton, to consult with Dr. Belden, as to the cause of his illness, and on his way home became very greatly exhausted and ultimately very ill, and in a few short hours was dead. Mr. Skahill was a very studious young man, and had spent several terms at Notre-Dame University, Indiana, preparing himself to take up some one of the learned professions. Henry, was an exemplary young man, courteous and kind to all with whom he came in contact, and will be mourned by a large circle of friends to whom he had endeared himself. The funeral took place at Temple Hill, on yesterday, and was one of the largest that has taken place in Washington township.
