Mrs. Tech, 96, Buried Dec. 5 At Oxford Junction

Oxford Junction - Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Tech, 96, former Oxford Junction resident, who had recently made her home in a nursing home in Maquoketa, were held Tuesday, Dec. 5 in Sacred Heart church, Maquoketa, with burial in the Mayflower cemetery, Oxford Junction.

She died Saturday, Dec. 2 in the Jackson County Public hospital.

Mrs. Tech was born April 27, 1871 in Oxford Junction, the daughter of Michael and Barbara Souhrada Wosoba. She was married to August Tech in Oxford Junction.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Tonie Burda, Maquoketa, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son.
