Services Held for Elmer Pegorick, 71

Oxford Junction - Funeral services for Elmer Pegorick, 71, who died Nov. 28 in Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a long illness were held Friday, Dec. 1 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hayden Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Christensen officiating. Burial was in the Mayflower cemetery.

He was born Jan. 30, 1896 in Jones county, the son of Vince and Fannie Kalous Pegorick. He had always farmed in this area and had never married.

Survivors include a brother, Louis, Wyoming, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Josie Soukup, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Emma Triltsch, Springville, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
