Olin - Funeral services for Edgar Everett Glenn, 57, were held at the United Methodist church, Olin, Aug. 26. The Rev. Robert G. Jones conducted the service. Interment was in the Olin cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clifford Batchelder, Henry Weseman, Lester Rix, Vernie Kreger, Harry Rohwedder and Rollie Luckstead. Mrs. Robert Jones was organist and Vicki Glenn was soloist.

Mr. Glenn died Aug. 23 at the Anamosa Community hospital.

He was born Aug. 18, 1911, son of Edgar H. and Wilda Ellis Glenn at their farm home in Jones county. He graduated from the Olin school. Glenn was a member of the Olin United Methodist church and the Masonic lodge. He spent his entire life, except 2 years, on the farm near Olin. May 18, 1932 he was married to Leona Madson at Rock Island, Ill.

Survivors include his wife, Leona; his mother, Wilda Glenn; a son, James, Olin; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Linda) Herrington, Olin; a brother, Victor, Olin and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
