Woods Child, 8, Buried June 27

Olin - Jann Marie Woods, 8, died June 25 at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids.

A family prayer service was held at St. Paul's United Methodist church at 11:30 a.m. June 27 with memorial services at the church at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Lloyd Dutro, pastor, was in charge of the services. Richard Frazier was soloist and Mrs. Galen Alexander was organist. Interment was in the Olin cemetery.

Pallbearers included Mervin Hotz, Ervin Hotz, Charles Bartels and Rolly Luckstead.

On April 10, 1960, Jann was dedicated by the rite of Baptism in St. Paul's United Methodist church, Olin. She attended Sunday school at St. Paul's church regularly as health permitted.

She attended Olin Consolidated school where she had completed the second grade.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Woods, Olin; 3 sisters, Elizabeth Ann Woods, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Dale (Phyllis) Kelly, Waterloo and Mrs. Lynn (Donna) Babcook, Mount Vernon and 2 brothers, Richard of Fayette and Brian at home.
