Emaline Lloyd Braun
August 22, 1901–May 14, 1988

Graveside services for Emaline Braun, 87 were held May 17 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in rural Oxford Junction, with Rev. Susan Detweiler officiating.

Emaline Braun of the Jones County Care Facility, and formerly of Hale, died May 14 at the Anamosa Community Hospital in Anamosa.

Emaline was born August 22, 1901 in Minnesota, the daughter of Harry and Alice Legard Lloyd. She had lived most of her life in the Hale area and had resided at the Jones County Care Facility since March of 1983.

She is survived by one son Marvin, of Scotch Grove and one daughter Lillian Putnam of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Emaline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, one son, four sisters and four brother. Hayden Funeral Home of Olin was in charge of arrangements.
