Diane Kay Davis, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness. Diane was born November 12, 1949 at Mercy Hospital in Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of Lee and Marian (Bahnsen) Romer. She lived on a farm near Olin until the family moved to Oxford Junction in 1957. She graduated from Oxford Junction High School in 1967 and married Jonas Davis on March 5, 1971.
Diane is survived by two sons, Randy Romer of Belgrade, Nebraska, and Jonas (Jill) Davis; a granddaughter, Bailey Davis; sister, Nancy Marx, all of Cedar Rapids; brother, Tom (Annette) Romer of Belton, Texas; nephew Joey of Cedar Rapids; niece, Megan Lee of Monticello; aunt, Gwen Snyder of Wyoming; aunt, Shirley (Dean) Holerud of Onslow; and several cousins in the Wyoming and Oxford Junction area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jonas Davis; daughter, Marion Davis; and son, Thomas Davis.

Friends called from 1:00–3:00 p.m. Sunday at Teahen Funeral home. Her ashes will be taken to Arizona.
